<<Maybe you should should ask that question on the STOR message boards. For some reason, you seem to think that the NTAP message boards is the place to discuss STOR. >>

With all due respect, had I been talking about an energy stock or krispy kreme, I could understand your thoughts, but lets be realistic here. We are here to discuss investing. On this board, we are here to discuss NTAP and other RELATED items. NTAP is storage....STOR is storage...two different niches/sectors, but related nonetheless.....I see nothing wrong with discussing possible alliances and etc......Certainly you do not see me touting or hyping STOR on this board. Discussing it, posting news...Yes, certainly. That is why we are here. I have seen many other companies mentioned on this thread when discussing storage...from emc to IBM. From SUNW to HP. From Dell to BlueArc......you get my point.

If I was shamelessly hyping a stock on this board, I could understand why you may be upset, but that is not what I am doing. I am simply discussing Ntap, STOR, the sector...the markets and etc, etc.......I was under the impression that is why we were here. There are some very knowledgable people on this board....I dont see how discussing certain storage realated topics with these people is a bad thing......It is why we were here. Now if I was here telling you all to dump your ntap and by KREM, I would hope the whole board would chase me away......but discussing a storage company on another storage companies thread is very, very common. Go to the sunw thread...they talk about IBM, MSFT and etc, etc, as much as they talk about sunw. Why? because they are all in the server markets and we are here on SI to discuss investing.

Anyway, I certainly do not think trying to discuss if STOR would be a good merger candidate is a bad thing....NTAP could certainly be involved, and/or effected by such a move.....and are we not here to discuss stuff just like this?

Have a good memeorial day

Keith
