Don’t think that I am condemning a QCOM or an AOL with fairly high PEs (above market norms) but I honestly think any stock with a PE multiple more that 18 to 20 is over priced.

I will still trade short term an AOL or Q but would never think of touching any stock that has a over blown PE like we have seen in the past, in the 100's.

I can tell by reading some threads that most novice traders have given up on the gold rush and are back in mutual funds. Money flooding mindlessly into .coms and other speculative stocks days have ended. The SI post decline is good evidence of this.

Technical trading is more important now than it has ever been.
