That derision on Chesterton was meant for me (I think). He would have described himself as you did, a controversialist. C.S. Lewis would have said more and so would G.B. Shaw.

Ayn Rand would be better described as a controversialist, and have more impact if people did not try and take her as a philosopher. Most of all she is an enigma and book seller.

Wow, a controversialist. That's a new one. It's not exactly surprising that you'd have to reach for a "controversialist" to find someone compatible with your never-ending "proof of God" "logic", though. I think the God/crazy MT dichotomy "proof " had more going for it, actually.

Looks like another point of compatibility, though I don't think you'd qualify in the 'man of letters" department.
