I have been defragging every couple of nights. Maybe it's too much. It's fun, though, to see how incredibly fast it happens, after the hours-long defrag problem i was having. Just not seeing the "Disk locked" message when I start the defrag is a minor thrill, lol. Also, I only have Norton's anti-Virus program installed on this computer. When I had the whole Norton program, i could see how fragmented I was, and wouldn't defrag until the red 5% light went on. I don't know that now. Now that I think of it, I'll bet there's a way to check that w/o Norton. Is there?
