No love lost between divisions. IBM is going to desert the gorilla for the chimp, right!< You are right about IBM's server division not caring about their semiconductor division. However, if the Sledgehammer does live up to its hype, the only reason for staying with Xeon would be concerns about availability. If IBM itself were fabbing processors for AMD, these concerns would be minimized.
