Glad to see the thread waking up after nearly a year. Been watching some Peter Greenaway films lately. One, fairly light-hearted and tongue-in-cheek mysoginist (is that possible?) in tone, "8 1/2 Women" and the other, "Pillow Book" is a very slow, meditative, beautiful, erotic film that I could only watch in 10-15 minute bursts. It deploys a juxtaposition of a 1000 year old story with a current one and involves a perversion of painting on bodies. Quite fascinating. A recent film that I was surprised to enjoy, especially after our local film guru dumped on it, is "Angel Eyes". Jennifer Lopez and Jim Cavaziel (from Thin Red Line and Frequency) are wonderful on screen together and the story has a psychological ring of truth to it. Hope to hear about more films. Myron
