I tend to agree with Zeev's approach to its predictive value. There isn't that much predictive about any specific number of P/C or VIX. These numbers can get to extraordinarily small numbers without causing a reversal. Of value might be the chart of the VIX (i.e.support and resistance). More important, still, appears to be the momentum of these indicators. Once an indicator turns and momentum builds in the opposite direction these indicators take on something of a confirmation role more than a predictive one. P.S. I don't think the VIX is indicative for NAZ stocks...
