Sounds like classic hallucinations to me.

At the hospital last night, we got this guy who had been bitten by a baby rattlesnake. I guess he had picked the little critter up to show it to his family and, not surprisingly, the little critter bit him. That is what brought him to us.

Cutting to the chase, I did not know that snakes' mouths harbor pseudomonas, but they apparently do. Doc put the guy on antibiotics to guard against a pseudomonas infection.

So, if you are ever bitten by a snake . . .

BTW, iguanas can harbor Salmonella, but I think a lot of people may already know that.
