I'm kind of in that same minority except for his live shows. I have seen one on tape and must say he really lays it all out for his audience.

I am with you L1, Bruce has 1 or 2 per album and a few true classics, but for the most part.....blah. One of my favorite songs is "Blinded by the light", which Bruce wrote, but the only version that I like to listen to is Manfred Mann's.

He was great..It was an old concert.. I have seen him in concert live about 7 times..Hardest working Rock and Roll Band in the Land..<gg> Used to think The Stones were better...not any more..now its Bruce..Billy..Elton.. and Rod..My Top 4.. But Bruce has to go on top..IMHO..

In high school was my absolute favorite. I loved his early stuff. The stuff the got him boo-ed and egged on stage, as happened locally at Allegheny College and Duquesne University back in about 1975 or 76. (I had commented about that last April on the P&F OT thread, after I seen him in concert) I wonder if it was his music or his "style" that attracted me!! I'd have lost it to him in an instant!!! <ggg> My Mike may not have nearly the money that Bruce does, but he sure as hell has aged better!!!!
