KT,, I think there are definitely people who are afraid of success. I read a good little book on the market once called IQ,, Investors Quotient. A memorable part is where he realised he was setting himself up for heavy market losses rather than watch his wife blow the money around town. I think this ability is in all of us. I've watched pros constantly lose until their three shots at different firms were used up , yet these guys knew the game and knew how to trade. I watched one young chap finally get a decent cheque one month in spite of himself. I was not shocked when I found out that he had lost it all playing craps that night.
