Paul: Why not?

I've been running a single CPU Windows 2000 Professional PC for 6 months without a system crash.

Perhaps I was not clear enough... I was referring to the dual-Xeons (Foster). All the i8xx chipsets (IIRC) suffer from that well-publicized "incompatibility" with all versions of Windows (including NT, 9x and 2K).

For critical stuff, it's much better to go with a PIII+ServerWorks system. Much more stable, proven, CPU almost as fast, memory bandwidth up to 4.1 GBytes/s (4-way interleaved SDRAM).
