E

To me it comes down to a decision whether I want a computer that can use 90% of the programs available to us or one that can use 40% (just a guess for any mac addicts out there). There are a great many popular programs (especially in the stock world) that you can't use if you have a mac.

tc :-)
Disclaimer- I have never owned a Mac and am going only by what I have read and heard. I could be wrong!

E, being a user of both, I have to say, "it depends what you intend to do with the computer." For fancy graphics, web and desktop publishing the Mac may have a slight advantage. Especially if you use it for publishing large graphic intense documents, newsletters etc. and plan to have a commercial printer do the final product. However, the PC has such a huge pool of software to choose from that it would be difficult to not find something as good. I much prefer the PC.

Who is to say that you would not have problems with the Mac. They will just be different ;-)

Regards,
Nick
