KG, re: "..it's a shame some of the kool aid crown can't open their eyes and see the amount of people and amount of money that was lost by folks following the kool aid crowd.....thats the most diconcerning thing to me...the simple fact that the now small cliche' of kool aid drinkers cannot see the damage they helped to cause..."

I don't think it's nearly an "us vs. them" scenario. As eloquently stated by the donkey in Pogo (see 1960's comic strip): "Faw! We have seen the enemy and it is WE." (with the exception of Rambus, of course - there really IS a conspiracy against this one <g>)

Seriously, tho': we ALL are / were kool aid purveyors (and drinkers at the same time). Hell, I thought I was so smart that I could trade and still be a full time suit...a true life master of the universe who exercised his finance & i.t. hobby for fun and profit. "Turned 30 K into 3 MM in 18 mos., never touched a dot com, yada yada yada"; the evidence was ample enuff to rationalize my own hubris and my denial of the warning signs. And I'm sure I'm not alone.

My learning from the experience: never underestimate the stupidity of those that run the show, but remember that it is nearly impossible to over-estimate one's own stupidity.
