OT Forgive my political cynicism, but don't 'cha find the timing of the good senator's switch just a bit curious? Yup, Jefford's certainly knows how to get the most bang for his buck. I can only wish that my investing acumen is someday that astute. The rumors are that the GOP may target Senator Toricelli, D-NJ, who has some serious problems with a Federal prosecutor. The NJ Governor is a Pubbie so the GOP would return the Senate to 50-50. And then there's Strom Thurmond, who's about 96, and the Dems are hoping for his demise. Well, Strom is a tough buzzard who may outlast them all. Keep in mind when you next watch Saving Private Ryan that Strom was there in the real thing.
