I don't blame you for side-stepping the question of whether you support a balanced budget amendment. Most Democrats also side-step that question, even though they appear so *concerned* over budget numbers not working out a certain way.

Have you seen the liberal economists numbers? I doubt it, neither have I. In order for someone to accurately refute his calculation one would have to *see* the numbers. Wouldn't you agree? Has he made the numbers public? Do you know if it's been peered reviewed? Do you care?

I definitely do not take the word of one (self professed and proud) liberal economist who has basically written an opt-ed piece for the very liberal op-ed pages of the N.Y. Times.

If you do, fine, have at it.

People believe a lot of things without doing the analysis themselves, or seeing the actual numbers in question. But, don't expect to get me all exercised about it.

Isn't it convenient how you neglected to address the balanced budget amendment issue. Isn't it convenient almost every Democrat doesn't support it. Isn't it convenient Tom Dashle and the rest of the radical left wing ideologues also don't support it.

Convenience is in the eye of the beholder.
