I suppose that most of the active accounts will be classified day trading accounts. 3 day trades in a 12 month period...

Have you any idea what they mean with closing a position? Say, I buy 1000 shares of a company but sell only 999 shares. Now, has the position been closed?

What are the benefits of not having the account classified a day trading account?
