Fry's in Campbell CA visit report. Three rows of X86 desktops, all Intel except for about five Athlons. About 20 : 5 Intel. Two rows of notebooks, all Intel except one Duron 800 MHz. I know it's early for AMD notebooks. Compaq, HP and, I believe Sony all had 1.7 GHz machines. Also saw 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 GHz, plenty of 1 GHz PIIIs, other PIIIs, some Celerons. This is the highest ratio of Intel to AMD, at Fry's, I've seen in a long time.

TV,

Re: Hector Ruiz's MO or resume in Motorola is a very sad one. His greatest attribute was knowing when to leave before the buisness went South. Typically what he did was the following when he became in charge of a new buisness

The credibility of this poster is as good as his spelling ability.
