May Gold futures expire tomorrow. Meaning they will all either be exercised or expire worthless as of tomorrow close.

June Gold Futures First Notice Day is the first day that delivery intentions start to be declared. The owners of long futures declare intention to take delivery starting tomorrow, and those that are short and plan to deliver declare their intention to deliver the gold.

By June 27 all June futures expire. People will start rolling to the July contract soon.

The potential for a big squeeze starts if the longs declare intention to take delivery and there's none to be found, LOL.
As of tonights open there doesnt appear to be any rush to sell so far. June gold trading flat from Friday close.
