Let me ask a dumb question. If these guys can get: The Actelis solution provides 10 to 100+ Mbps of symmetrical bandwidth with reliability levels on par with fiber optics. out of twisted pair, why couldn't they get even more out of HFC or plain old coax?

What I meant was that you thought ATHM had no propriety, no true technological advantage, and if they could show some kind of success, then that would invite all the voracious types to come in and eat them alive. They failed so miserably that the only success they had was to drive everyone out of BB by convincing them that it was a profit zero enterprise. That's what you meant. The rest was fluff.

This doesnt pass my sanity check, unless you are talking very short distance lines. Does it pass yours?

100Mbps over twisted pair in a LAN is now pretty commonplace, but the real world is a whole lot uglier. Far longer wires, far more crosstalk- the list goes on.

I cant see technology moving that far that fast. Do you know anything about it?
