It's a beautiful craft, Tom.

My brother has a Ranger 20 on Flathead Lake. That's the biggest sailboat I've been on.

I take an environmental lesson from boats in the harbor. In the midst of all manner of oil, gas, holding tank overflows, and other pollution in Auke Bay Harbor, your boat will grow hair in a week if it doesn't have bottom paint. In a summer, it will grow barnacles and I don't know what all. Like nature is fragile? Fat chance!

I've been told it's a good idea to alternate colors of bottom paint because it's easier to tell when your most recent coat is wearing thin. Matter of preference, I guess. Kind of a nasty job, ain't it?

Beautiful boat Tom. Had an invite to go out on Lake Michigan this evening but have a conflict. Tartan 35R. It is good to have friends with boats. Good sailing, Will
