Liberals think that they are good with five and ten year plans. Problem is, those plans are rarely based in practical experience. Too much planning/too many studies and commissions/committees, not enough lab practicals...

I'm shutting down, but this is in my window. If it was posted earlier, sorry.

Er... how about the Nine Year projection? They didn't have any trouble with

Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 7, 8 or 9.

and they didn't say that the tax bill is a temporary measure due to expire after the 9th year.

Did they?

Your point is certainly well taken that projections out ten years depend on so many factors that the notion that they will be accurate is "a joke."

Unfortunately, that doesn't quite explain why hundreds of billions of dollars were estimated in the budget, albeit no quite doubt inaccurately, for every year out except... Year Ten. When the most wildly inaccurate estimate of all, zero, is what the omission provides them, de facto, of course.

How con-veeeeen-ient.
