Bingo Bingo. Private property is the answer to so many problems - not to
mention the foundation this country was build on. Coincidentally, I came
across this article today that discusses this very topic - the "tragedy of the commons".

Only problem with this piece is, he explains the problem well and sets up the answer but whimps out at the end. How can we sell our ideas if we keep running away from them?

That need not mean handing Yellowstone Park over to Disney, as liberals have unfairly portrayed conservative environmental thinking. But it does mean stripping away needless regulations that retard investment in new (and cleaner) infrastructure, as the Bush energy plan proposes. And above all the administration should stress the need to reduce federal taxes even further so that states and local communities have the capital and maneuverability to tackle their own problems--not 10 years from now, but tomorrow.

Heck no, don't HAND Yellowstone Park over to Disney. SELL IT TO THEM at top dollar. Use the proceeds to pay off the debt. Then pick another Federal asset and sell that. The parks - the trees, the wildlife, the visitors, the tax payers, will all benefit.
