Both your's and Velo's scenarios are actually similar if you accept that Velo's '2' is a sharp correction. Both counts have new impulsive up starting shortly.

I still see some near term down before any new up can start, in either case.

I have my doubts as well, but after the recent rise, I am not putting anything on the back burner. If 11,000 on the DOW and 1273 on the S&P can hold than it is possible. Also, as long as 2220 holds on the Nasdaq it is a possibility.

I favor a broader pull back here as well, but I think we need to keep this perspective in mind so we don't get caught with our pants down.
