Hmm! There is a debate on the origin of the Jewish people, Greeks as Philistines, Jews being Russo-Turkic (?). This topic of 1 and 2, alpha beta's also came up. On the Gold Price Monitor Thread. Decided to take a quick Web search. Information overload. No wonder I watch almost no TV.........zzzzz

"Must admit we covered quite a long way ..." Um..., yes. One might think we stray "off topic" too far, but I think not. What use would a financial system be if it could not support the sale of billions of share certificates from the millions who hold them to the billions more who don't so that the price can go up? So it is useful to contemplate the kinds of things that raised other pyramids in other times... rights & wrongs, nomadic vs sedentary, us vs them... and Gold (hmmm... I have none). Rather timeless little things that have not changed in tense for centuries. At least it is an enjoyable diversion while we hustle as we wait (apologies to Edison). John.
