Joe, I got a new 815 motherboard a month ago. Coincidentally, my old TNT2 graphics card went south for some reason. That's when the integrated graphics of the 815 became a real time saver, since I didn't have to hunt down a new graphics controller.

Right now, my system (a 1 GHz Pentium III system, no less) is STILL running on the 815 integrated graphics. Interesting, no? I would get a new 3D card, but I just don't feel the need right now. Maybe it has something to do with that new Sony PS2 system I bought several weeks ago ...

Joe - Re: "The only good thing about the graphics in i815 board is that you can turn it off. "

Nope - there are several good things.

First, it is essentially FREE.

Second, the i815 board allows (me included) a complete PC to be built with absolutely NO SLOTS filled in the motherboard.

Third - the clarity of the graphics is superb - and in terms of AMDroid logic - which YOU MUST ACCEPT - the Price/Performance is EXCELLENT !
