Key question Joe is not whether we are at bottom, because essentially we are, it's how long we will bump along the bottom before rising. We have had AG rate cuts and a front end tax cut boost coming with the rebate checks that will be spent. Will this overcome structural damage to the economy caused by the "bubble". Again the answer is yes, but when? We need some signs out there or we will probably trade in ranges from the bottom, (dow 9k, naz 1650, amat 37) to current or slightly higher prices(dow 11k-12k, naz 2250-2900, amat 50-60). It does look bleeker each day that we will hit the high points of these ranges anytime soon. When I say this we usually go up. Mike

PS You are right about the subtle pounding bulls take from bears here. They are the brightest bunch of bears and many hold long term positions in amat to boot.
