Albert: unfortunately in the large company everything is standardized and all of the equipment is considered critical regardless if it is server, number cruncher, local pc, or info computer in the lobby That's certainly not my experience. Most IT departments (while perhaps overly conservative at times) are well aware of the need to balance costs according to the "criticalness" of the system. E.g. you don't see many redundancies in workstations, whereas most servers have at least some limited form of it. -fyo
