Sam: Don't worry about your house selling. My house was on and off the market for more than a year. When I had taken it off the market to re-group, a note on was on the door, from two guys who buy and fix up older houses. To make a long story shorter, they were both "believers" and made an offer the same day. A couple of weeks later, I closed.

The even funnier thing, is that I had a weekend to find somewhere to live. I thought of this older man who leases duplexes. I had looked at one a few years ago before my son was born, but I ended up buying a house. On a Sunday in the end of February, this sign appeared in the yard of a duplex that I liked. I had planned to take Monday off and made an appointment to see it. I was met by a woman. She happened to be the daughter of the man who leases the duplexes. I was the first person she showed the duplex to and she had put the sign in the yard, just before I saw it. I leased the duplex, and they did not require me to sign a lease with a term. She and her parents, husband and kids are very strong "believers," so it was what I call a "God-thing," because only God could work out those details and the timing.

Ironically, this man is a retired Engineer, who used to own a company in my home town, in the Silicon Valley. I am told it was the first laser company, in the U.S. He owned it in the 60's and 70's, I believe.

So, God took care of all the details. Isn't it great to know we can depend on him?!
