Tenchusatsu,

I got a new 815 motherboard a month ago. Coincidentally, my old TNT2 graphics card went south for some reason. That's when the integrated graphics of the 815 became a real time saver, since I didn't have to hunt down a new graphics controller.

I can understand that. What I don't get is that there is so little needed to make the integrated controllers in 8xx line of chipsets acceptable for just about all 2D graphics, but Intel chose not to do it. And with the 815 chipset, they had a chance to do it, since there was long enough time since the release of 810 chipsets to make some improvements.

It seems that 845 will have an all new graphics, and I hope they will improve the specs enough to stop me from whining about this. But then, even though I bought a few Pii, Katmai and Coppermine, I don't see myself buying P4 with SDRAM anytime soon, so the issue is moot for me. But for now I am stuck with a few 810 based computers (that can't have their graphics upgraded) and BX based Compaqs with integrated ATI graphics (which is a POS as well) which continue to cause me headaches.
