Fishweed, RE: Bread SAM. . . . earnings over, conference call finished. . . the selling appears to be on news. But nowadays, it isn't enough for a stock to simply "sell on news". . . when the buy volume dries up as in the case of PNRA, the short-sellers smell the blood and swarm. . . especially on a day with the Nasdaq down nearly 80. . . .why not? . . it is a good play. The thing has obviously run too far too fast and needs some time to correct and consolidate. So they slam it [usually working together in teams, squads, gangs, whatever] . . .and the reason? . . . because they can. . . of course.

Notice that Fuel Cells and Interactive TV stocks have also been hit sharply today. Anything that ran hard last week is being slammed today. It is what is to be expected.

Each trader here needs to recognize short-sell opportunities. If you do not, you are shorting your own strategy. Whether or not you actually short, you need to at least be on the lookout for good short opportunities. Believe me. . .it will help your long trading immensely.

Hope that helps,
