I was trying to introduce some facts into the argument, something done too rarely on this thread. I was answering a poster who said the SEP-IRAs were available to any American; they're not.

The fact that SEPs require same-percentage contributions for employees is neither here nor there. Most small businesses with employees would use a Keogh or 401k plan to avoid that requirement, anyway.
