Sun Micro Cuts Outlook

PALO ALTO, Calif. (Reuters) - Network computer maker Sun Microsystems Inc.(NasdaqNM:SUNW - news) revised its financial outlook on Tuesday, cutting its sales forecast to 10 percent or more below current Wall Street expectations but giving no reason.

Sun, which in the past has blamed economic weakness for slower sales, estimated in a statement that per-share earnings for the quarter would be 2 cents to 4 cents. Analysts polled by First Call/Thomson Financial had a consensus forecast of 6 cents.

Sun's sales would be $3.8-4.0 billion, it said. That compared to estimates of $4.4 billion by First Call-polled analysts.

DEaler - With the SUNW news it is clear that there is no recovery in sight. In fact the opposite, it is getting materially worse as business around the world for the old tech leaders simply implodes.

Mr G and his really bright and useful memebers of society namely the other Fed Govenors were very concerned about tight labor markets last year and euphoric stock prices......well they should all be very content that their action ruined the greatest economy the world has ever known in a matter of a few months.

There is no longer a worry about tight labor markets or inflation. The Fed governors need no longer worry their pretty over worked brains about that one. Maybe they should now start to worry about how millions of people who have and are about to lose their jobs should make out till they can find work again.

The man is a genius.

Best regards,

L
