Anyone have any idea of why GZMO has been so strong the last 6 weeks or so? I think it's been my best performing stock of late, but I haven't a clue why.

No relationship to Cramer.

But I get a little peeved when investors deride professionals with great long term track records, simply because they sometimes give bearish opinions. I believe Cramer averaged over a 28% return for better than a decade. That is excellent.

The entire street machine is geared up for hyping stocks. Biotechs in particular are susceptible to analyst nonsense. I recall reading an analyst report from a major firm last fall predicting that MXIM had an 80% chance of getting the melanoma drug approved. Meanwhile thestreet.com was plugged into the hedge fund shorts saying the drug was a dud. CLPA is another good example. I find that kind of stuff invaluable.

Again, if any of the guys on this thread think they are better than Cramer they should open up their own hedge fund. You can get going for around $25k in legal fees. Bank of America and Furman Selz provide excellent support to fledging hedge funds.
