I'm not sure what a standard of living is since people's standards change all the time as does the way they live. I do think things will change for what most people will call "the worse", but the extent to which that affects those that have taken prudent precautions because they have seen it coming can't really be known, especially if democrats gain control of this government, imo. the market is just a meeting place for buyers and sellers, why would anything of significance be "just the market" unless they are buying and selling things that have the income generating potential and underlying asset structure of bottlecaps or pogs?
