Actually, they notice. But it keeps going up and so they hold. Besides, there is no other alternative in developing countries. There is no free market for gold there, and gold sucks anyway.

not if you look at how the US financial system has learned to react to anything that smells like a crisis...the solution is to increase leverage even more...since the central bank has eradicated the word 'risk' from the financial dictionary. all speculation will be accommodated to the best of the abilities of Gutenberg's otherwise useful invention...
