Charlevoix, the possible perfect squares (sums) would be 4, 9, 16, and 25. To use up the higher numbers, you'd have to first start with the highest possible sum, 25. Thus, 18-7, 17-8, and 16-9 would be definites and those numbers can be eliminated from the pool leaving 1-6 and 10-15. 1+15=16, 2+14=16, 3+13=16, 4+12=16, 5+11=16, and 6+10=16. Thus, if I were #1, I'd be dancing with 15.
