Let's give SB some credit though. They got Laura Conigliaro on via phone and had her explain, in detail, the reasons for her downgrades of EMC and SUNW. This was definitely the news of the day in tech land, and kudos to CNBC for recognizing the importance of the call and getting her on promptly. I hope to see more of this on SB. And, to be honest, I liked the phone interview better than an on-camera interview. It seemed to make everyone focus a little more. At the very least, CNBC shouldn't let the lack of a satellite hookup keep them from getting timely interviews when analysts actually have something useful to say.
