I bet, for example, that over the last couple of years when I would call bill clinton a liar it makes you cringe and that you see it as unnecessary and denigrating.

Brees, you can mouth off about Clinton all you want as long as you don't do it to his face and you wouldn't hit my criteria. Calling Clinton a liar does not chip away at his sense of his own humanity. He won't even know you said it. No harm, no foul IMO. What I had in mind by denigrating was treating employees or service people like they're beneath you, making a first grader confused and insecure because you affirm another child's religion at the expense of his, or calling someone a "loser" on SI. Those acts are direct assaults on their humanity and, according to number 3, are wrong.
