Hi Vaughn.

Your post (and the exchange with the other shareholder re the share issuance resolution) raises an interesting point/dichotomy. On the one hand , I endorse the notion of a rights offering in lieu of a PP , albeit for entirely selfish reasons. On the other hand , I have felt for quite some time that SUF must recapture the institutional investor base that it lost a couple of years ago if it is to fulfill its potential and establish an orderly , sustainable market for its shares. While the two objectives are not mutually exclusive, they need to be co-ordinated. Suffice it to say that once that institutional base is established , i think they too will push for financings via a rights offering , for the very same selfish reasons that are motivating the present suggestion (and my endorsement of it!). Regards.

Just a wild thought here, but I'm wondering if the price action and volume these last several days has anything to do with one or more parties quietly buying up 9.999% of shares prior to announcing a buy out offer (to be followed, perhaps, by a bidding war). Not sure that fundamentals otherwise support what's been happening. Anyone have access to what houses are doing the buying? Comments?
