HK PRESS: China Netcom, CLP, KCRC Talk On HK Telecom Ops 10:10, 2001-05-30 HONG KONG (Dow Jones)--China Netcom is in discussions with Kowloon-Canton Railway Corp (H.KCR) and CLP Holdings (H.CLP) unit CLP Telecom, on a collaboration to develop a telecom business in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Economic Times reports quoting unnamed sources. The report says China Netcom might invest in the China-Hong Kong fibre optic network jointly owned by CLP Holdings and Kowloon-Canton Railway. Company officials from CLP Holdings weren't immediately available for comment.
