How unfortunate that ALA CEO has chosen to speak and believe the same words as LU. ALA does need to consolidate and it is extremely foolish of ALA mgmt to think otherwise. Open mouth, insert foot: "``I believe there will be some consolidation. Alcatel does not need to consolidate. Alcatel has good dynamics, good products. We're gaining market share in service provider networks,'' Alcatel Chief Executive Serge Tchuruk said in a conference call with analysts and reporters. ``We don't need to consolidate. If opportunity arrives, and it makes sense to shareholders and it makes sense to the shareholders of others -- but we are not hunting for consolidation action,'' he added"
