Dan, Intel Mid-Quarter Business Update Conference Call (www.intc.com)
Scheduled to start Thu, Jun 7, 2001, 5:30 pm Eastern

Just something else to add to your other woes, that is the P 4, Itanium, and now of all things the tax cut. Golly, high interest rates, stagnate investments, lousy car sales, commercial real estate market tanks and the residential markets can’t be far behind. Pretty soon you may be saying it looks like Hillary in 04(ouch).

Seems like things are looking bad to you lately. Perhaps, you need a long vacation. It’s summer you know and a trip down south could do you a world of good.

Herb

Blow Hard Dan - re: "It is not a good time to be introducing two confusingly similar, expensive, lines of capital goods into a sector that is facing far more competition that has historically been the case."

Which will make AMD's "ServerBoard" launch next week appear even more pathetic.

OT // Dan3, Re: "The tax cut gives 2/3's of its dollars to the wealthiest 10% of the population - which may or may not be fair since they pay more dollars in taxes"

Try this link for congress' estimate on distribution of benefits: house.gov
Generally progressive distribution (in % reduction) with the notable exception of the <$10,000 category.
