Of course, it is not a zero sum game. The "winners" are those who contribute through productive investment, or the value added through their skill and/or inventiveness. They are the ones who cause the economy to grow. Some "winners" are passive beneficiaries (e.g., they depend upon their portfolio managers), and some are overvalued, but the net effect is the same: investment is made, business is done, and in the long run, the economy grows, people have jobs, there is progress in the quality of material goods, and so on...........
