L becomes a U at some point anyway. Will it be a U that includes all of 2002 and perhaps some of 2003 is what the L folks are really talking about. Of course I heard or read about one L guy who compared tech to oil in the 80's and said the slump could last 10 years.
And then there are the folks who continue to believe that we will have a V. Mendelson, the TA guy at Schwab, who has been quite good for the past year, thinks this downturn in the market will reverse based on what he sees as last hour action in the Dow. We have had just about a 10% correction in the nasdaq and in the dow. So your amat trade still has time to work. Mike

Quite a few executives sell stock at regular intervals regardless of what the market does. Hill's sales in May are meaningless unless they differ from his previous pattern.
