The truth is that there is fundamentally nothing different about today than two or three trading days ago... Just a little impatience from people who are failing to give credibility to the effectiveness of the Fed rate cuts already in place.

Good Point. With every profit, there seems to be more doubt about any potential for recovery....and we only got SUNW!!

Not all companies' businesses are going to bottom out at the same time, especially when there are other factors at work as well. SUNW was forecasting a revenue increase from the April to June quarter...and if you want to see something else that is amusing..just look at the ORCL quarter over quarter revenue expectations. IMHO, there is just no way they will hit them. (again..imho).
SUNW and ORCL were too dependent on dot.coms and will experience the same types of problems..Oracle may even feel it more.

To think that after a SUNW warning, everything has changed is such a joke.

Agree, today is the day to buy, taking advantage of all these doubts about a recovery.

These prices are the sure pits right now. Buying time?
AAPL below 20, PALM and 5.5, LOR an 2.65, EMC at 31 to name a few. That's a 20% drop in a week.
