I'm still short target -- I've been just plain wrong, Charles. I thought the consumer would clam-up, get nervous, quit spending beyond his income ... hasn't happened. It will. I pulled the plug some time ago on KSS for a loss ... still nicely ahead on a number of hit and runs on that one, but it may be a little while longer before folks get nervous and pull back. I think recent weakness in new home sales may be an early indication. The shrinking deficit time before last didn't turn out to be it -- it grew again recently ...
