What is it about creative people ( in the fine arts sense ) that makes them so myopic about money. They think conservatives are their enemy for trying to eliminate the NEA, but fail to recognize the creative trap liberals lay for them by offering to fund their doodles. Are they so naive that they think when someone gives you money, they don't want something in return or is there a strong correlation between artistic ability and laziness?

Maybe it's that the lazy ones don't really have any talent and are faking it.

He looked at me very seriously and said, "In the New Society, there will be no Art. You'll have to work for a living."

College Socialist Thought.

Most interesting. I would imagine that if you were studying Painting and Sculpture, that you would have been in a Liberal Arts program.

Something, as usual, is missing here.
