To the best of my knowledge Al Checchi used similar techniques to revitalize Marriot, and then again in the buyout of Northwest Airlines( Extensive Tokyo real estate in that case)..

Could you go over the steps involved in a management takeover/LBO?
How would the various classes of debt- and stock-holders be involved
or settled with?

Perhaps just because of Bramson's background and his substantial holdings,
I had always considered that this was a possibility, but I have to admit I don't
know how to evaluate it.
