No, but that was the moment (late March/early April) when bad news became good news...

From late Jan.-until late March....bad news was bad news....we are back in that mindset...I don't believe we shift back (again) so suddenly...as long as bad news comes, those stocks/indices will be affected (on balance)...until trend shifts again...

Sorry, should have made that comment on ANOTHER thread <g, ng> I KNEW you'd nail me for it WAVEMAN...g

OT: I disagree Allan. DELL announced April 4th they'd meet. Since everyone and their brother were calling for COMP 1,000 that meant something, imo.

A lot of covering then, and we had the start of the 22% COMP run. It was later goosed by the INTC announcement of a meet and increased capex. News announced which is diametrically opposed to mass thinking means a whole lot in this type of market, imo.

Not sure if the news was the catalyst for all, but it was the reason (one of them) that I went long calls for that run, and bought DELL afterhours the day of the announcement.
