Rossignol -- Agreed! I am up a bit,, but a bit less than last week <g>. All due to trading! The stuff held is taking a beating and will get worse. I've been doing well trading and hope to see cpq around 15. Grab a couple points again and run.
You said "Is that a gambler's lament or what?" and I have been doing great holding (2 months) and trading MNTG. It is MTR Gaming. Hoping for a pullback to reload on it too. Dropped a bit today-- for a nice trade.
This mkt DOES suck and will continue for a while longer! 2nd half will be better (OF '02!).

I have the same lament...and I don't think it is a gambler's lament...it is simply the nature of cyclical trading.

The current nature of this market is what will determine who is a real investor and who is a short termer. If you can stand the ups and downs, you'll do fine. If you reach a point where it's just too much, you'll likely wind up losing...or not making "as much" as you should've.
